i just been backed from bringing my bike for repair.
met this man who changes tires and have a long chat with him.

this is the man i salute cause of his determination.
he told me that he had two kids and both of them are in the college.
and he dun take any loan like me.

one of his son is from TARC college just like me.
he said his son is retained cause he failed 2 sub in IT.
well, i said to him that, the time will come.

first i thought that his son is some jerk.
but it end up i m very wrong.

when i'm leaving he asked me what m i?
i said i m a teacher
he said his son play drums and he send his kids to yamaha for 3 years( i had been there but the fees is just too expensive for me)
he showed me his son poster.
and i can see from his face that he is very very proud of his son.

looking at his dirty hands but his excited expression.
i felt that we are very lucky to be fortunate.

imagine how many tyres does this man have to change just to get his 2 boys in the college?
but i can see that it's all worthy from his expression when he mention bout his kids.
i salute this man for his love to his kids.
and i think his kids make him very proud.
with his dirty hand full with dirt and oil,
he raises 2 kids, send them to music lesson and college,
while he is stuck in this small dirty shop.

he said his son failed 2 subject that makes him retained.
i said to him:'' it takes time, i'm pretty sure your kids will do well.''
he smile and i kept the poster in my wallet.
the poster is pretty dirty but i think that is what love is all about.

he is very happy that his son is in the poster.
his son is dressed up nicely, while his dad is with an ugly tee and dirt on his hand.

love is about sacrifice.
love is not about going for dates.

i have a few students who their parents work their life out just to send them to school.
i have fishmonger parents, foreman dad, wireman...whatever.
and these people are people who really earn my respect.
even though life is hard for them, they give their best to their kids.

so, i think we as the one who are more fortunate,
should really appreciate what we have now.
dont do any hanky panky stuff in the college, it's not cool.
it's dumb.

i believe that there is no one cant be educated,
only those who does not wanna help themselves.
those who take short cuts,
even though they are much more fortunate than others.

satisfy with your life,
never ask others waht they can give,
ask yourself, what can u give them in return?
